International/Regional Conferences
Each year, Apostolos Campus
Ministry gathers leaders around the world or
in each individual continent to focus on the
task of global evangelism and to bring forth
the Gospel to the university students of today.
The conferences serve as a consultation for
leaders to exchange information and ideas regarding
critical issues the missions now face and the
visionary hopes for the missions and developments
that are to come.
General issues that are shared and discussed during each conference include:
A. Mission strategies and proposals for ministries within each continent or specified region.
B. Developing more effective educational outreach programs and Biblical education that will reach students of today.
C. Gather new inspirational methods of evangelism and creative thoughts to spread the Gospel on campus.
D. Administrative and logistic management of ACM ministries at every level.
Specialize committee from International headquarters will assist each conference in conducting research, collecting information on every ministry around the world and prepare a proposal of action for the leaders to address and discuss among the conference.
Among the primary principles of the conferences are to strengthen the communication and network of international missions, encourage new missions to uncharted areas and souls, and unite global leaders with one heart in prayers, conversations, and reports. The conference serves to remind every ministry around the world of the great commission Jesus has given us and make efforts and prayer to unite with the dream of Christ.
Leadership Network
"Much of God's work has been carried forth through the centuries by young, idealistic scholars. The Holy Spirit touch them in youth, their most impressionable age. Youth is the period of visions and adventures. Then idealism is the most easily planted and stirred. Youth despises sham and wants goodness and virtue to be unadulterated. The decisions of youth have resulted in moral reforms which have changed the whole character of life. These decisions also bring an awareness of God and a desire to find his high purpose of life." (Ortmayer, pg. 14)
As a ministry focus primarily on spreading the Gospel to the students of today, Apostolos Campus Ministry believes that youths are they foundations of today's society and the pillars of tomorrow. Honoring the calling of the Lord in students and gifted talents that are given to them, ACM wish to develop young men and women as leaders to promote His kingdom.
The Leadership Network is an approach to maintain communications among the young, inspirational student leaders around the world who devoted themselves in teaching the Gospel to their campuses. From the Far East regions of Japan to the Western coasts of United States, the network interlinks campus ministries of every region through intranet websites and mass media. The network serves to promote the exchange of information, resources, and reports of victory in Christ in local evangelism. Other functions of the network include assistance in ministry work, updates on planned events, and transparency of missions across the globe.
Online Seminars and Workshops
When embarking on a new mission or pioneering new fields of evangelism, what leaders need the most are resources and information that will aid them to set up the foundations of their mission. The Apostolos Campus Ministry sponsored online seminars and workshops are specially dedicated to missionaries abroad who request guidance in their mission field.
The topics of the seminars and workshops range from applying for registration on campus, drafting constitution, setting up small group and large group Bible studies, provide transparency to the public through websites, mission finance, and other areas of concern.
Missions
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" (Romans 10:14-15)
Working toward a common goal and vision, Apostolos Campus Ministry have dispatched numerous of missionaries to different regions and countries in attempt to spread the Gospel to the un-reached. Holding on to the calling of the Lord for this ministry, ACM aims to plant, mobilize, and support missions within every nation.
The mission efforts are separated
into two main operations: field missions and
mobilization. Every year numerous students from
around the world volunteer themselves to be
dispatched for the works of the kingdom. After
given specialize training to meet the criteria
as missionaries, the volunteers are sent to
different universities in the world and continue
the efforts of preaching the Gospel actively.
Meanwhile, there are also students who volunteer to stay behind in their local universities to mobilize resources and monetary support for field missions abroad. Mobilization is just as important as field missions. According to the studies of United States Center for World Missions, the field missions would "suffer for every missionary if there is not at least four people at home who are equally dedicated and hard at work keeping mission vision alive and focused on the remaining task."
Apostle Paul quoted in Romans 15:20, "It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not b e building on someone else's foundation." Through the relentless efforts of the two operations working cooperatively to advance the preaching of the Gospel, ACM wish to call upon student missionaries with the purpose of reaching the lost and also student volunteers to fully support the common cause.
If you wish to support our missions abroad as a mobilization staff or is interested in field missions, please refer to Staff/Volunteer Opportunities for more information.
Teacher's Course
"Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scriptures, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hand on you. (I Timothy 4:13-14)
To Timothy, Paul reminded him not to neglect the gift that was given to him, but devote himself to reading, preaching, and teaching of the gospel. Apostolos Campus Ministry believes that to each believing student, not only has God called them for the purpose of knowing the Scriptures and preaching the gospel, but also He called them to testify His love for the world and teach about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Student Bible study teachers are raised from convicted volunteers who wish to devote their time and strength to share the gospel and testify the works of the Lord in their lives on campus. The teachers are prepared through a set of standard teaching courses that include Bible verse memorization, lecture note taking and advanced Biblical studies, and basic Christian theological and historical concepts.
If you are interested in becoming a student teacher on your campus, please refer to Staff/Volunteer Opportunities for more information.
